Golfers on par for ward 14

James Cook’s ward 14 has received a £2,634.53 windfall thanks to a special charity golf tournament involving companies at the Wilton International site.

A big thank you to the 18 teams of players from the main site companies and their contractors and supplier partners who took part in the four-ball at Saltburn Golf Club for their support and also to all the firms who generously donated raffle and auction prizes. Teesside Philanthropic Foundation has also received a similar amount thanks to their efforts.

Bev Rogers, ward 14 manager said: “We are very grateful. This money is a godsend and we will use it to benefit patients on the ward and their families.”
