A NEW book encouraging children to brush their teeth was successfully launched at the weekend.

The Northern Echo’s editor, Peter Barron, was in Waterstone’s in The Cornmill Centre, Darlington, signing copies of his second children’s book, Black-toothed Ruth Black.

The book, illustrated by Darlington artist Paul Wick, is the second book in the Monstrous Morals series, following Fartin’ Martin Sidebottom.
