'Fat’ lads and lasses transform the home of South Bank girl born with severe disabilities

What an amazing experience, thank you to everyone who has helped with Millie's dream bedroom, so much planning and hard work has gone into this. What a great team of people we have, so much so, that we even had time to create the perfect bedrooms for Ebbonie and Jay who are Millies older brother and sister.

I have to say a huge thank you to everyone again for all the hard work, long hours and total dedication which ensured that we delivered the perfect sensory room for Millie and I think from the reaction we got, we nailed it! It has been an incredible experience for everyone involved. Paul A Sykes, Becky Short - Jason for the design and the support.

Special Mentions for Guy Powell who got us started with the building work and also Dave Kay outstanding Joiner who has been with us for every minute of the build, Shaun Cooper my right hand man everyday this week unreal effort, to the Painters Paul Mitchell and his dad who got all the paint donated by Chris Emmerson Manager of Crown Decorating centres on skippers lane, not forgetting Stu Lambert our other painter top class, to John Mellor and polyflor for the materials to floor the wet room and storage room, Bill norton of Pinnacle flooring for putting the floors in for us, Lindsey Sampson Gazette, Lindsay Clode Lesley Clode, Graeme Hetherington Northern Echo, Aimée Louise Jiméná, Ian Rodgers - for helping on sunday to get us ahead of the game with the other kids bedrooms, Millie Mai Mann, Glenn L Auckland, Jane Pattison Harvey, Jane Morgan - of the Ellen Timney Foundation for there support in providing millies drying table and also securing the large donation for us, the Findlay Cooper Fund for purchasing the Ball pool , Sarah Louise Emmerson, Mel Turner, Dan Walls, Alastair Brownlee, Neil Maddison, Philip Stamp, Mike Greenup - and MB decor skippers lane for providing the materials for the wet room, Marc Samson - for laying the carpets on his day off, Peter Maley of south bank for donating the carpets, to the Fat Lads and Phat Lasses thank you for your dedication and support yet again!
